 IRENE V. VILLACCI, ESQ., with over 20 years of legal experience, has set the standard for exceptional representation and consultation in the areas of elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, Medicaid planning, and estates, probate, and trusts administration. Ms. Villacci obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Hofstra University of Law in 1989 and was admitted as an attorney in New York in 1990.
The law offices of IRENE V. VILLACCI, Attorney-at-Law, PLLC, was opened in February 2007. Prior to establishing her solo practice, Ms. Villacci was the Senior Associate Attorney at Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, PC, for 15 years, in their Elder Law, Trusts and Estates Department. She has written many articles and has given lectures to community groups to educate them regarding elder law and estate planning.
Ms. Villacci was certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation in 2001, and was recertified in 2006, and 2011.* Ms. Villacci is certified to be a court-appointed Court Evaluator, Guardian ad Litem, Counsel to Guardians, and Referee in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
A strong advocate in the area of Elder Law, Ms. Villacci is a member of the Elder Law Section, Trusts and Estates Section, Real Property Section, and General Practice Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Villacci has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys since 1994. She is a member of the Elder Law Committee and Surrogate’s Court Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.
Irene Villacci currently serves as a Vice President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), and served as its Corresponding Secretary from 2010-2011. She is a Past President of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, a chapter of WBASNY.
Ms. Villacci has a passion for pro bono work. She is a founding co-chairperson of the Pro Bono Clinic established by the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and is the Immediate Past Chairperson of Advisory Council to Nassau-Suffolk Law Services, Inc., a non-profit pro bono legal agency.
